Key Responsibilities:
The Salesforce UX Designer will be responsible for designing user-centric experiences within the Salesforce platform. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and other designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and productivity.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
User Research and Analysis:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Analyze user feedback and usage data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop user personas, user journeys, and other UX artifacts to guide design decisions.
- Evaluate existing applications for UX effectiveness and recommend improvements based on research findings and best practices.
- Work closely with Salesforce Developers and Admins to implement designs smoothly, ensuring technical feasibility and maintaining Salesforce best practices.
UX Design:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for Salesforce applications.
- Design user interfaces that are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with Salesforce best practices.
- Ensure consistency and coherence in the user experience across different Salesforce modules.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand product scope and requirements, ensuring designs meet business goals and user expectations.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions meet business objectives and technical constraints.
- Present design concepts and deliverables that illustrate simplicity and user friendliness to key stakeholders effectively.
Usability Testing:
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback on designs.
- Analyze test results and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
- Ensure that final designs meet usability standards and best practices.
Salesforce Customization:
- Customize Salesforce pages using Lightning Design System (LDS) and other Salesforce UX tools.
- Collaborate with developers to implement custom components and ensure design fidelity in the final product.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce UX/UI trends and best practices.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and user guides.
- Document design decisions and rationale for future reference.

Professional Experience & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field; or equivalent education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on Salesforce applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (LDS) and Lightning Experience.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, testing methodologies, usability and accessibility concerns and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce UX certification is a plus.
- Additional experience in sales environments or call centers is advantageous.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prototyping.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with accessibility standards and practices.
Pay Rate: $101,600 - $129,503 / annually depending on background and experience.
