Technician, Repair- Cleaner
The purpose of this job is to serve as a detailer and to clean rental instruments and prepare them to return to stock in the refurbishment process for woodwind and percussion instruments.
Duty or Responsibility:
- Responsible for detailing and cleaning quality instruments in a timely matter based on established production standards.
- Responsible for turning in accurate production reports on a daily basis
- Responsible for reporting QC rejects on a daily basis
- Responsible for performing general warehousing and distribution tasks as needed when not in operating in a detailer capacity.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Apprenticeship or a diploma for an accredited repair school is required
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience required
- Novice proficiency with mechanical tools used for instrument cleaning and repair
- Novice proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
