POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver supports daily warehouse operations through accurate receiving, organization, staging, and shipment of merchandise. This position primarily performs warehouse responsibilities while also serving as a backup delivery driver based on business demands, workload, and staffing needs. The role requires strong attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Locate, pull and transfer products for daily sales orders, ensuring accuracy between physical inventory and order documentation.
- Receive, process, organize, and sort serialized and non-serialized products according to company standards.
- Assist with quality control, inspection, and maintenance of rental inventory and equipment.
- Prepare, pack, and label merchandise for shipment following company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Load and unload products safely, with or without the use of carts, pallet jacks, or other approved equipment.
- Move and organize product within the warehouse to support storage, staging, inventory accuracy, and shipment needs.
- Serve as a backup delivery driver by operating company vehicles to transport products between locations as needed.
- Conduct basic vehicle safety inspections and comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work environment.
- Support warehouse leadership and team members with additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Ability and willingness to operate company vehicles, including cargo vans and box trucks, as needed.
- Six months previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or inventory experience preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and warehouse scanning systems preferred.
- Ability to navigate warehouse locations, locate products accurately, and use RF scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work overtime.
Compensation: Commensurate with Experience; $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
